Electric guitar have only been around since the 1950's. The designs have continued to evolve into many variations. The early designs are still favourites today. The Fender Stratocaster, the Fender Telecaster and the Gibson Les Paul still out sell all other designs. Their sound has been recorded on more albums that any other guitars and the shapes are distinctive icons. The parts for these guitars are all similar. We will have a look at the designs and their parts.
